Kind of a rough for a comic that I suddenly had an urge to work on. Just a little comic page of Cosette and Luca from "The Light Eater's Wife" being cute.
The text is kind of a little hard to read I think, I don't know, I'd like to hear what you guys think about it.
I blame the discloration on the fact that I have no working scanner anymore and had to resort to taking a photo and then darkening the image on my computer. I'd like to color and clean this later
"The Light Eater's Wife" belongs to me, no stealing.
Oh my god. Just htis little scribble of a page kicks the crap out of the page I'm drawing now. Just the poses and the flow and expressions.... granted the perspective is a bit wonky but GHRRR do I wish I wasn't such a messy sketcher!
And I'll assume by wonky perspective you mean my amazing curving staircase and tilted temple? I can't lie, I totally love to go straight for drawing the people and then I kind of always end up just throwing in the backgrounds.

Meh, It's probably just because I'm nervous and paranoid about my own comic and how it will turn out. So many things to plan!
I'm pretty good at pespective and backgrounds. Perspective just kinda came easy for me. It really helps to study pictures and things around you. But I still fail when it comes past the basics of perspective and puting characters in that setting...
Indeed, indeed, it's such an involved art form It's kind of fascinating in that since.
I know I can do background perspective, it just isn't my main interest. I really need to work on it though. Environmnet communicates so much. Oh well, everyone has skill they need to work on I suppose. I think you're characters fit pretty well in your seetiings though, I don't feel jolted or anything like that when I see them.
